Ports 1961 S/S 2022 Milan

^ It's been like that for the last 3 seasons.

The Louis Vuitton S/S 2017 is strong with this one.

Karl is an excellent stylist, his Port 1961 shows are always so well styled. But the clothes are just remixes of other designers' past works.

I have mixed feelings towards this. It's not bad per se, but at the same time it's far from good. Leather looks are the best, very reminiscent of Burton's work for Mcqueen. The rest is pretty much a diluted version of LV by Nicolas. Footwear is horrible.
F/W 21 was spectacular. Karl should stick to Balenciaga.

Cool casting, cute looks and as original as Proenza or Victoria Beckham...at least he mines the work of people other than Pheobe.

I prefered the pastel colored rendition of Balenciaga/Sacai he did for fall but Anok and Mika look divine here.

it’s as if Ghesquière for LV lost some of it’s egomania and dumped Marie-Amélie.
now, what a minute…!!!

This is quite unexpected given how "mature" Karl's previous collections for Ports have been. Definitely a bit of Nicolas' collection for LV S/S 2016, mixed with the footwear from Celine from that same season here. At least it's not as referential as last season, yet at the same time it's lacking the impact of his previous outings for me. Maybe I just didn't expect the punk-ish vibe.

The girls do look amazing in the clothes though (duh), particularly Achenrin and Anok in the closing look.
