there are lots of these kicking around and they look excellent - I traced the trend back and I think it started with Prada A/W 08. I remember a shot in Vogue Paris with a model wearing one of the Prada shirts with black leather trousers and lanvin pumps.....
I have just got a new macbook and I don't know how to copy the pics onto this thread.
There are some powder blue shirts at Chloe s/s 10 and Isabel Marant a/w 10....but I can't copy the pics.
sorry I am really ****.....
Is this the image?
i kind of love this
in the last season or two i've been much more drawn toward mens shirts/button down shirts in general...
whether they are slouchy or fitted i think they're great...
i think the flat front, no buttons on the girl above is really interesting... i like that look.
i like the androgyny of it and think it works particularly well on girls with smaller chests...
yes thats the exact picture....I bought the shoes because i loved them so much
Ever since that French Vogue editorial, I've been lusting over mens shirts like that. I just love how the outfit looks so effortless & cool yet minimal with the shirt & the leather pants. My favorite use of the shirt has to be at N21 Alessandro Dell'Acqua for the fall/winter 2010 season
I've always liked wearing men shirts with skirts.
I love these
I've been meaning to create a thread on the buttonless ones but I didn't know how to search for it.. are they just called buttonless shirts?
I saw one of these shirts quickly at H&M a couple of weeks ago and I've been thinking about it ever since.. and when I went back it was gone
Chloe S/S 10
i love this trend...so classic.
I wear a mens Ralph Lauren blue oxford in XS and it is PERFECT.
love this trend, so beautiful and simple
This is a classic piece that will go until the end of time.. even after that we'll be walking around in blue men's shirts
bassike S/S 10.11
i love the look, but prefer the shirt to be less pressed, more worn, wrinkled.
I like this look on other people, but it's hard for me to do because of my unfortunate bustiness. If I get a larger shirt I look tubby and a slimmer one makes me look like a stripper and the shirt gapes. I have to buy one and then get it tailored.
I love this look so much. I love the whole tailored mens shirt look, but hadn't come across the buttonless look before. It's gorgeous.
I know what you mean - I am pretty busty but I like how wearing this shirt de-emphasises this aspect. One the flip side, it does make me look a bit bigger because the shirt de-emphasises my waist as well. I like the overall relaxed look though - I usually wear it with super skinny jeans/latex leggings/bandage skirts.
Here is mine:
I love this trend so much. Mens shirts seem to nearly always look better on girls for some reason... Loving the look with the tan high waisted pencil skirt.
love this trend. Most shirts fit so awkwardly on me though
