Prabal Gurung F/W 2015.16 : Caroline Trentini by Daniel Jackson

nice and clean like a 90s ad tho the nudity was unnecessary they should have given her maybe a sheer cotton shirt. that position is never a good idea for someone that's nude

This is really beautiful. It feels somewhat like a Calvin Klein campaign back when Calvin Klein was at the helm; very seductive but very easy and casual at the same time. The lighting and contrast also elevate this beyond the "stand there and pose" formula that so many brands and photographers have adopted.

As for the nude, I kind of like it because it's very much not a cliche as far as fashion nudes go. Put Caroline in pretty much any other pose and the shot either takes on a "come hither" mood or the sort of "I'm ashamed to be naked and look really scared" vibe. This is unusual in that it's kind of matter of fact.

Hmmm not sure what to make of this campaign. It does have that 90s/Calvin Klein look referenced above, but I would have expected something better from Caroline & Daniel Jackson.

At least now we know what Caroline looks like when she has to go in nature.

I might be on my own but I actually love the nude shot; she makes the pose work imo! The other one's great as well!

I agree!! Quite a sensual campaign for Prabal Gurung, and it doesn't ring hollow. I really like the nude shot because the focus seems to be on the shoe, which actually looks great here. Will echo everyone else who said it looks very Calvin Klein.

is she peeing on the first one?

Okay I was totally thinking the same but would never have said it first lol ! Seriously this nude shot is not very good, not pretty at all. The lighting is not flattering and the pose is a bit akward indeed ^^ and her face ... :(

Or more like...

So, so beautiful. It's just the right combination of model, lighting, photographer and clothing coming together in a nearly perfect way.

Love the new shots, still much better than pre-fall! This will look lovely in print.

Pretty awful imo, no real concept and the logo just thrown in the lower right with no real use of the overbearing white space. Forgettable amidst much more thought out campaigns this season.
