After seeing the Style.com images, I'm liking it a whole lot more
great great great. still feels unfinished. but getting there
this is quite stunning. i like the romance and the colours!
he is talented no doubt the second 40s style YSL dress is amazing but he needs more cohesion and make better pants
BUt this guy stands out from the other NYC designers who just copy Balmain /Givenchy/Balenciaga 80s bondage punk wh*re look which they did in past seasons. A look which is getting old fast.
the tie on the dress is great,
but the models really boring~
I like the details and the print dresses.
i think the pants look really interesting. loves the cobalt blue, and those flowers/bow ties
Some nice pieces. Noteably the trenchy coat, second look. There's a bit of personality seeping through. I'd like to see more.
It's not bad, but some of those bows that look plopped on at the last minute are driving me crazy. That one shoulder cobalt gown was so beautiful from the front, did it really need that wimpy little bow right under the ***?
I also would've dropped the last two red looks. The black, white and blue was good on it's own. Still, for a second collection it's pretty solid.
this is one of my favorite collections so far.
Yes the random bows are completely unnecessary and detract from the designs. Like those little bows on the bottom of the 3/4 length sleeved white draped dress - ?!?! They look like an afterthought.
I think I just found myself a new favourite up and coming designer! I like the subtle checker board effect that the white and black ensembles are bringing.
I'm not usually a big fan of dresses but that floor length white gown is stunning. I also love the fact that he used my favorite shade of blue!!
that long blue dress, the bows.....yum!
