Is this the official campaign that will be in print? And if so, no models? :o

Don't worry, I'm sure there will be a separate pre-fall campaign featuring models, just like the previous one.

Once again Jessica looks tremendous. At face value she really encapsulate the Prada woman, and wear the clothes very well. Just a pity her personal style doesn't really match Prada's aesthetic, but from a marketing perspective it looks good.

Maybe Miuccia always wanted a more permanent Hollywood actress as a spokesperson, but Meisel wouldn't have any of it? It's odd to see Prada so committed to a celeb for their campaigns.

This is only part 2 of the 365 campaign, models are probably coming next.
Prada should focus on one campaign, Jessica looks pretty here but it's boring...

I sound like a broken record but this Vanderperre x Prada thing is just so boring and redundant.

I love Vanderperre for Prada. Stunning images and Jessica looks gorgeous.

Can't wait to see the models.

It is, I'm with you!

I personally haven't admired a single campaign that Willy Vanderperre has produced for Prada, and I'm already bored of his collaboration with the brand. Where's Meisel when you need him? He's shooting the likes of Zara, Moschino and meanwhile Prada's campaigns are crumbling!

Another amazing set of images. This Prada x Willy x Jessica collab is simply perfect!

Loving the Horst vibe here, so elegant.

I might be the only one but I got bored of Meisel's Prada campaigns, and that while I was once a great admirer. His last campaign was tragic and I don't think his style still works for Prada's aesthetic.

Vanderperre's style is much better suited and it's definitely more coherent and consistent.
Still, some of Meisel's campaigns for Prada are iconic but i'm not going to dwell in the past.

I'm in agreement that not every single Prada campaign by Steven Meisel was astounding, with a mixture of both hits and misses season after season. Yet for me, personally, Vanderperre's campaigns (so far) have all been total misses for me. Then again, I really am no fan of the Vandeperre aesthetic whatsoever.

Beautiful but dull campaign.
it is supposed to be very cinematic but there isn't that much feel to it. It's kinda empty.

Jessica is very beautiful but i'm less and less convinced by her as a Prada woman. I mean, she wears the clothes well but she wears Prada the same way that she is wearing Givenchy or Chanel.

Prada is supposed to be more bold in it choices of spokesperson but it's always very safe.

Meisel wasn't always good at Prada but he took risks and he did his thing. From the choice of models to the sets, he really pushed things. I don't think Willy is doing this at Prada.

This 365 thing is frustrating because he can use all those ressources to deliver one good and memorable campaign instead of a bunch of useless pictures. I feel like it dilute the message and add more confusion.

It's very true - and without risks, there is no chance of creating something iconic. You can't plan iconic...iconic happens. That's the power of Meisel...he doesn't always knock it out of the park, but when he does, he's untouchable.

I don't remember which member here on TFS said it in one of the recent Prada campaign threads (maybe it was you Lola!), but Willy comes across as such a fanboy. It's almost as if he's too in love with the idea of Prada and Miuccia herself to look at the brand and collections objectively and try something genuinely fresh and interesting. Which is why, ultimately, I think Meisel is in a class above the rest. He's not a fanboy of any brand...he's a fanboy of beauty. That allows him to try anything, do anything, work for anyone and come up with results that always hit a higher standard than most others can achieve - even at his laziest. That's a very old school approach to working in this industry.

I'm already bored to death of Willy V x Prada. This collection was a mouthful to put it lightly, but there was an opportunity to do something really iconic and memorable with it, I feel. However I would honestly never associate either of those words with Vanderperre's work (particularly recently). This is forgettable dross at best!

The thing is that Willy has only been with Prada for two seasons. However, Prada's been releasing 365 campaigns this year so it already feels dull.
They should really restrict to one campaign per season instead of spreading so many out.

Beautiful images, Jessica looks amazing but this campaign (i agree) is very safe and boring.
All I see is a great business deal. Nothing interesting to see here.

This is exactly how the collection should have been styled on the runway. Instead we got messy hair and styling and too many accessories. This clean cut look is the Prada I want to see and the Prada that they should be presenting.

With the same setting Meisel would have done much better pictures. And I´m still not sure if I really like Chastain for Prada.

I agree with you all that everything Vanderperre does for Prada looks the same.

Willy Vanderperre's problem is that he doesn't seem to have a diverse repertoire suited to a brand Prada. That's why I think he'll work for Jil Sander or Calvin Klein with a more distinct aesthetic, but not for Prada who's clothes are like chalk and cheese season after season.
