Have any of you smelled it yet?

Do you like it? Do any of you wear it?

I'm thinking about ordering it from Sephora because they're not selling it in stores in Montreal yet.

The sample in the magazine smelled nice but I wasn’t to make sure that it's not deceiving.

I was not sure as to where to post this topic so I just put it here

I smelled it. I liked it a lot. I'd get it for my wife in a heartbeat. I also liked the bottle with the pump, very cute. It's just so overpriced for a mass produced fragrance. Why is it $90, when most of the mass produced fragrances are 60-70? Prada will always be Prada - a greedy conglomerate.

got some for my sister in law at the weekend - I didn't like it I don't think. Is it citrus based? I don't like citrus smells.

its a great fragrance, I want to buy it, but I agree with Faust, stupid overpriced company

I still go and ask for samples

:woot: :flower: I love to disagree (rarely) with people that I like and agree. As parodoxical as it sounds, it makes us real humans

disagreement amoung friends is healthy, surely? :flower:

....is the prada fragrance citrus based? I had just smelled some stuff scented with 'creme brule' so it smelled citrus-y to me at that time....

Honestly, I don't remember. I just remember liking it.

i have it and i love it.

helena, i'm not smelling citrus in it, but you are right, it's a mixture of bitter orange oil, bergamot, sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla and tonka bean..
it's a perfume for winter, not very light, but warm and sensual.

I like the bottle with the pump because it looks cute and it refillable. It's going to cost way more than 90$ in Canada even after you take currency conversion into consideration. ALthough the price doesnt phase me much because it's about a quarter of the price of my regular perfumes by House of Creed. SO it's actually a deal in my eyes :D

Huh? That's a crazy price you pay for Creed in Canada. The big bottle of Creed in NYC will run around $150 on the average, and the Creed store has been having a 1/2 price promortion for a long time now, so it makes it even cheaper than Prada. I was referring to what you are paying for, Prada fragrance is mass produced like any other, Creed stuff is all natural and is much more expensive to make - hence the premium price.

aah that explains why i didn't like it - I hate the smell of orange (well unless its chocolate orange)

There is only one store that has Creed and the bottles range from 150$ to 395$ in Canadian dollars.

I think the price may have gone down in NYC because I bought a bottle at Neiman Marcus a few years ago and it cost about 250$ american.

But in any case I ordered the Prada fragrance from Sephora because the lady in MOntreal did not know when she was going to recieve it. I couldn't wait.

For some reason I can't smell the orange in it. THen again I only smelled the sample. I hope I like it. :(

I smelt a sample in Fenwicks yesternoon - it smelt alreet, quite dark.

You mean you don't like the smell of pomanders  I thought this humanly not possible... I do hate citrus perfumes though. Anything fresh and citrusy just smells kind of sharp and chemical...

How about a pear?

I like it, i smelt it today, Its very sweet smelling, i love the packaging, its not too bad price here £40 in my city, which is less that what i pay for Marc Jacobs.

I like it rather a lot, i may buy it, but i'm not sure if its a bit too sweet for me.

I have a headache now though, i smelt so many perfumes today, and spent way too long in lush and all the sweet smells go to my head oww.

Hehehehehe I guess all noses smell different things. I will however agree that it is a warm dark smell for winter and not for summer.

I dont find it smells sweet or citrusy. I cant wait to get it in the mail! :woot:

Ok I got it a few days ago.

It smells great but I dont smell any hint of orange oil

I smell the patchouli though :ninja:
