I'm not mad about this translation from womens resort. The styling is not too busy, I have to say I really enjoyed watching it. Of course it looks like mix of few latest mens spring collections, but when it comes to the menswear they can do no wrong for me.
Sanchez did a great job, but putting this Aphex Twin song in the soundtrack was a bit tricky choice when it is so associated with Raf first Dior HC.
Not bad at all...
It’s her best effort lately and considering how tragic the FW is, it’s not even an achievement.
Nothing revolutionary or offensive (except for the Ugly denim).
I want to know what’s going on with the logos on every piece of clothing...
Much much better than the resort
Oh my GAWD. how uneventful.
Of course I couldn't watch more than 3 minutes.
Could live without the hats to be honest. Like her recent men's collections; another non-threatening easily sellable collection.
I could do without the ushanka's (which I don't really get) but other than that it's a pretty solid collection. Great colors.
How lazy (and uneventful). Bad it is not (well some things are), but dull sums this up perfectly. Not to mention that some of the prints give me Demna x Balenciaga vibes, thus 'do not want' springs to mind as an initial reaction.
The shorts are awful. No man will ever wear them in real life.
I love everything else. Especially the pants and coats, which she always gets right. Great colors and I even love the hats.
She can flush the denim tho.
It's an obvious copy and paste from her resort collection, but it works. I wish she would have shown them together. Separating the two really sucked all the excitement out of it. This would have been fresh had we not seen it a month ago. Overall it's clean and simple. I appreciate the restraint. Everyone is going over the top with layers and layers of product. *cough* Versace *cough*. It didn't work for Prada and this collection is the result of that. With that being said. The logos need to go. Hopefully they won't make it to production because they add NOTHING to the clothes.
I only ever like the knits at Prada Mens shows, everything else is just not worth commenting on.
Complete off-topic: I didn't even know they played so many Aphex Twin tracks at Raf's Dior debut, the music really didn't fit the mood now that I've watched it with the original soundtrack, too wild and playful for such an icy show. Which songs were played here?
Miuccia tried hard.
I don't like this collection.
Ushanka must be a hommage for Football WC?
You think Air " Sexy Boy" didn't work there ?
What's not sexy about boys wearing ouchankas for summer with too tight mini shorts and rollnecks covered with ugly prints ?
Star Trek has been done a thousand time. Don't need another one, next.
Going to have to disagree with you there. I actually think they are quite fantastic.
I was expecting something more fun!
Well, it's not bad... certainly better than the last two seasons, for example... but both MSGM and No. 21 are doing Prada better than Prada, which renders this collection completely useless.
It's basically styling, which I found nice anyway. They dress a guy like no other I think.
Vogue has better quality photos btw-- these have gone down.. D=
