Preen F/W 09.10 New York

This is quite beautiful actually. Preen has quickly become one of my favorite shows of the season. I particularly like the grey coat over leather leggings. All of the trousers are great actually.

That said, I don't see where the houndstooth dress on Vlada fits in.

oh, it's quite lovely.. probably irresistible to almost any girl.
It's still lightyears away from what they were capable of doing in London but certainly a highlight for NYC. very nice.

I only really like the monochrome stuff. I think that would have been a much stronger theme to stick with, and work with. The pastel pieces look quite cheap.

this is kind of gross
the cutout detailing is all over the place
theres nothing conisstent, those pastel dresses are nasty and look very badly finished...

i love that parka with the oversized ribbing and fur hood tho

Preen does cut-outs like no other.

I like that they are experimenting with different colors, patterns, and textures. Not all of it is successful, but the collection is great as a whole.

not sure what i think yet though...

there are some things i like but some of the more colorful, candy-hued items are a miss for me..

F/W is gonna be cold with all the cutouts and holes all over the place.
Oh, and God deliver me from those shoes, they are HO-rrendous! Yuck! Interesting patterns though, but I'm pretty shure I've already seen it (and I have a distinct feeling it was at H&M... hmmm)

i dunno. some of the monochrome stuff looks too similar to jean-pierre braganza. i want to like it but it does nothing for me especially knowing what they are capable of doing.
