I'm never quite sure with these two who these clothes are intended for? They're just so "fashion." They take themselves WAY too seriously. It's like - wow - how clever, you photographed an angry looking model in front of a construction site.

garbage. these used to be so cool when before they were peaking into what Nicolas and Phoebe are doing. this is like a zara version of celine fw14

Hey Phoebe. What are you doing here in NY? But I love the second look though.

I prefer this to some of their last collections, I feel like it's taking a step away from the usual shapes they do/doing something a little new for them (even though it's nothing extraordinary)

its funny how Celine this collection is; aren't they in the same price range? Couldn't a woman just go and buy Celine?

Some nice ideas and pieces but I can only see Phoebe Philo in front of my eyes while looking at it.

The thing is at that pricepoint, as much as women are label focused they are perhaps more clothes focused. When shopping I've found PS to be easier to wear than Celine, a bit cheaper (there was a 8k wool blazer at Celine that had my eyes rolling), and actually a lot better made. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself. PS is actually some of the better made designer RTW out there.

So actually I wouldn't be surprised if in the department stores I go to (bergdorfs and barneys) if PS sells better than Celine.

Interesting you say that as I've always found there to be something rather tortured about Proenza's clothes in person. I always feel like there are so many tricky details and the fabrics are usually so heavy and bulky with strange asymmetrical cuts for the sake of "design."

I didn't say it was better designed, only better made!

I actually love it! I do notice that it has some elements similar to Celine's but I don't mind at all.

There is element of normcore which Celine has started but I actually like it,I like the fact they step out of comfort zone and challenge with some other directions.
