Project Runway Season 3

im not being understood... oh well. television sucks... when you put entertainment before design this is the crap that happens...

if theyd make a show thats focuses on designers in school working on their final collection id definately enjoy that...

Damm guys, is it really that hard to not give everything away in advance?? :judge:

my own stupid fault for looking at this thread....

i found this out on a yahoo preview of project runway it says:

"the designers prepare for a team challenge. Kayne, Robert, and Michael decide to go to the producers to report a rule violation"

here's the video for anyone who wants to view it.

I agree with you.
Please people, if you read a spoiler somewhere and want to talk about it, put it in white writing. Don't ruin the show for others in case the spoiler proves true.

i agree with you about his decision not to clothe the dog. it was realistic. not all people dress their dogs and that may be his story. and regarding entertainment versus design, i also agree with you on that. however, it's what sells. i hope they focus more on the process of design on their dvd.:flower:

Bradely seems like a total stoner. I like to think of him as a Jeff Spicoli (from Fast Times at Ridgemont High). Kind of funny, clueless, but cute and interesting.

i agree as well. i love bradley!;)

If someone is kicked off the show, will another contestant still be eliminated? Probably so, but you never know... I think I remember a show (TOP MODEL, maybe?) in which someone left/was kicked off, so they didn't do any eliminations that week...

But at this point of the show, I'm really ready for them to be done "trimming the fat" (i.e., those people who are a complete mess, who can't handle the show, who haven't been able to put out a good design). Can you imagine Vincent, Angela, or Bonnie showing at Fashion Week? Ugh.

not sure. i don't think the designers you mentioned have a chance to show at fashion week unless the producers want drama. vincent and angela should go. i'm not sure about bonnie but she hasn't been impressive as the others in my opinion.:flower:

But arguably, that like someone sending a naked person down the runway and saying its b/c they are inspired by nudity  I mean, it is a competition and where is the artistry of doing nothing?

ps- I like Bradley too...maybe I am biased but I just saw him the other night and I wouldn't categorise him as a stoner. Very friendly, warm & has a good sense of humor. Nice down-to-earth, humble guy^_^

^ you made a good point. i guess it wouldn't have been much of a stretch to at least make a dog collar. i must admit the attitude didn't help (i'm in the minority yet i still like him). your assesment regarding bradley seems so accurate. he really is humble as i've said before. hope the pressure does not bring out some unpleasant behavior from him (although i highly doubt it). ^_^ really love him!

Don't get me wrong Keith cracks me up  like when he said Angela's dress was "like a big bag of skittles...all purple and pink and scary"
He does come out with some real gems.

best show ever!!! my boyfriend gets into it as well. last season he cried when chloe won he was so mad

that's nice. who did he want to win? yes orchide. he's had some funny moments and i really liked it when he helped bradley. i took that as some sort of compassion and not a pretentious show. thanks for reminding me of those "skittles!" :D :flower:

daniel he wanted daniel to win because chloe is already set she has her own store and everything. shes not doing ANYTHING NEW since she won the show she only wants to stay in texas and do her store... boring... haha

this season doesn't seem like it will be as intereesting as last season. The people wgho were cast last season seemed to be such better "characters". Where is this season's Andre? and noone has come close to saying witty remarks like Nick did. I hope it gets more interesting personality wise once they do a few more cuts.

^ "What happened to ANDREEEE?" -Santino imitating Tim Gunn, hahaha, love that quote!

I think their personalities will come out more as they get whittled down.

I definately agree. I think that is the same as last season. You didn't get Santino's Tim Gunn impression until the very end of the season.

Angela will probably not get kicked off for a long time, even though her designs are horrendous. She's the 'crazy' person on the show and the producers are going to want to keep her around for some time.

Last season didn't get really good until around the middle of the season. That was when Santino started to imitate Tim Gunn, Santino and Nick were singing the "Daniel Franko Where Did You Go" song, Andre truly became Andre... So I still have hope for this season to get really good as maybe 4 more people leave. I have to admit that the talent among the designers is at its highest this season and the last runway show will hopefully be the best this season!
