i like michael, but most of his stuff is played out. seen everywhere... he doesn't really have a signature style. it's kinda blah... imo. i think he'll probably win though.

i want to see more high fashion challenges... more creativity.

Here is a direct link to the PR videos. On the right side of the screen there is a link for Season 3. Click on that and a list of all the videos should appear, including the bonus footage.
Thank you so much. So kind:)

really? are we judging him or his designs?

sorry, but his designs are £%"! too...

It doesn't help when he is a jerk on top of that.

Is anyone watching Showbiz Tonight on CNN?? I am so angry with cnn's reporting of Kathy's Najimy......

Were they discussing Kathy's letter to Andy posted on BravoTV's site? Please tell me how the show went.

Just a thought, but they have another episode to make up after Keith (I think, bad with names) was booted off early. ;)

I think if you read Rucker's blog (one of the producers) that things have been switched around this year because of cancelled contracts with sponsors, episodes switched around, etc. I don't know if there will be an extra episode. The waste management site was nailed at the last minute, dog episode got swtiched. Fuzzy on the details, so I'm not sure. Would recommend his blog. The first one I started reading and definately my favorite. I used to work in TV and I just can relate so much.

Off Topic

I just wanted to share a brief encounter with Malan this past Thursday. I am visiting New York for the first time ever and while crossing the street with a friend, notice Malan walking next to me. I tapped him and asked if was indeed THE Malan and sure enough he was. He was incredibly sweet and shy and was pleasantly surprised that we recognized him. We told him that he was let go way too soon and he just kinda shyly smiled without saying a word. We tried to get juicy gossip about the show but he obviously wasn't allowed to disclose any information and he did not. However, he did state that he would be showing for fashion week. We wished him luck and he really appreciated it. He walked with us to the end of the block and asked us questions on where we were from and after some more brief chatting, politely said goodbye. He looks great in person and his super sweet and humble attitude made the encounter even nicer.

that is so cute. I really wished he had stayed on longer. I would have loved to see what type of designer he was.

All in all, people have different tastes.

agreed. thank god for different tastes!

i watched the episode again... and just didn't see jeffrey being a "jerk". yeah, he wasn't the most diplomatic. the only thing he said that could have been construed as rude was "i don't want you at my work table". i think he reacted appropriately and saw that he really did remain as calm as possible considering he was dealing with a "client" who was negative from the get go, passive-aggressive, and wanted to see him fail. i think you get treated the way you treat others...

team jeffrey! anywho....

is anyone listening to tim gunn's podcast? i love him and his colorful expressions. i could listen to him all day.

^ yes! We were talking about it a few pages back. He really gives great insight to everything we can't see. Plus it's hilarious to see that he hates Vincent and Angela. lol.

LOVE the podcasts....Tim is so brilliant, and never misses a beat. :)

I like Jefferey as well, but each week he tries to bring his rocker, desconstructed look to the challenge. No woman of that size, would wear that outfit he made. Honestly.

PR is looking for a more "sellable" designer though. And he is not giving the judges what they want really. Does that mean he's a bad designer..............NO!!!!!

ianastar, i'm in complete agreement. jeffrey is definitely not an "everyday woman" designer as PR's sponser, macy's, exudes. if that's what the judges are looking for, they won't find it in jeffrey. with that said, i think jeffrey's exposure on the show will do wonders for already flourishing business. he's already got clients like steve tyler, iggy pop, and lenny kravitz... not bad.

I wanted to see him on the Red Carpet tonight but missed it. He is the best and is why PR is successful. Love him!

I read in an interview that Tim Gunn recommends the book A Dash of Daring: Carmen Snow and Her Life in Fashion, Art and Letters, and so I went out and bought it today. It's quite good, but I bought it w/out flipping through it... I wonder if I am becoming a Gunn Groupie? :D

i like laura.... i like people with harry winstons shoved up their nose.

Well, if we are starting a fan club, I'm in. :p What is the book about? Do you recommend it?

i think jeffrey has 2 looks that appear on his face:

1. rock star sneer. he uses this when he's being vulgar or rude.

2. innocent youth: when he's not aware of being watched, he often looks like a little kid. seriously, the tattoo was probably to toughen up his image because he looks like a baby otherwise.
