Does anyone remember the ad where this guy is holding a really pale woman in a black swimsuit? And it doesnt show her head or anything past her knees? That one just sticks in my mind just because it was sort of....disturbing. It looked like he was in a morgue.

^ I think because it's pretty much...Glamorizing an unwelcome advance from a man. Basically, almost r*pe.

I remember those ads but it never made sense to me, it still is very vague now though.

The fetish ad. is ridiculously stupid. but the model is pretty...

^ Who is that model? Off-topic.

When I saw that ad when I was younger, it didn't click as being suggestive... I think it applies more to being a tease, or subtley rejecting somebody, rather than the ad suggesting unwanted sexual advances from a man...

that fetish ad is useless. the model is not that pretty. and the slogan doesn't match the picture. they could have done something better.

I think what disturbs me about the Fetish ad is that the makeup around her eyes is red, and her hand is placed almost like she's crying - and then with the "shake your head no," it implies r*pe.

Well.. about the Fetish ad, if i simply look at the photo without reading the text it doesn't remind me of cried out eyes, to me it's just a pic with bad make-up.
About the head shaking.. I think our neck is closer to the guy as we shake our head in the disco or at a concert than in the situation (?O.o") you are talking about.. :p
Of course i accept your view is right. :D

When I first looked at it really closely, it looks like there's even a reddish trail on her cheek (left cheek when looking at the picture). IIRC, this ad was pulled after most people complained.

i get your point. now that you mention it, i do see the red line down her left cheek...damn!!!i love provocative ads. gucci ones. the ones with sex. not that fetish one...

i was watching habillé(e)s pour l'été (french fashion tv show with Mlle Agnes) and heard about a McQ ad which could be very provocative.
did you hear about it? I don't have any image but (once again) McQueen used the svatiska and another nazi cross for his campain (he already used an inspired nazi cross for accesorize one of his show some old time).
there, the 2 nazi accesorizes are not from the collection so i guess the person who styled it put it on the jacket (on purpose???).
it was in a recent ID. does someone have it?!
even the boss of McQ wasn't aware of it!!!! the ad was taken away after Mlle Agnes made this remark to Alexander McQueen and McQ 's boss in october during FW in Paris.
i guess she wasn't the only one who noticed it but....
