this might be interesting to you guys..
www.subliminalsex.com
about how sex is primed in advertising..

for example, do you feel this ad is suggesting something to you?

could this be helping what you're thinking? (her lower back)
1.3-(2)-web.jpg

you can literally play 'spot the penis'...

also the CK ad from post#347..
either that guy has some very coincidentally shaped abs or something has been airbrushed in... or maybe i'm just freud's rebirth:ninja:

here it is again below..
funny how many of the overtly sexual ads can be banned but yet advertisers can sneak these in..

^ that cigarette ad was given to us by our human sexuality professor ... needless to say, i don't think i'll look at ads with such innocence ever again -_-

maybe its because i'm a male, but looking at the YSL ad, im thinking "ok...its just a penis"

Me too, though I wouldn't mind seeing more such ads :D

Those 'to die for' ads are truly tasteless! Why would that sell anything!

maybe its better if you don't see it ;)
theres a detailed explanation from the site under 'subliminal advertising example'..
the phallus is supposedly exactly 6.5" in scale with the picture.. i don't know any woman's backbone who looks like that.. so it doesn't seem like a coincidence to me..

plus that book is more than 10 yrs old now so the airbrushing would be more advanced now..

(ok so i'm trying to say i'm not some obsessive perv)

kiki - i got that one from a psy text. i thought its kind of cute the profs are reading the same stuff.. B)

It's been awhile since I've been to this thread so I can't remember whether someone managed to post those controversial Abercrombie and Fitch ads, but I finally found them!

Follow the link for the rest... I realized posting them would just be like posting pictures of naked people. I don't even know if we could call them advertisements, as they're not even wearing clothes in half of the pictures!

^ I completely agree with your last two statements.

ruslana rules - The Euro ad is hilarious! Thanks for sharing those ads.

Ah yes, Abercrombie: Models without clothes and clothes without models.
