Puffball/egg shaped skirts

There are a very few that look like they'd be difficult to move in, but most look very walk-able (and I walk pretty fast and have a long stride for my height).

Kirsten Dunst wore one in a new candid of her.. a puffball skirt that is^_^

^ i can't tell you how much i hated that man's work for celine

i adore those balenciaga skirts. the proenza schouler dress is a dream. i would most definitely wear this. i'm making plans for this style (creating looks in my head) right now. i just love this new shape. proenza schouler's look is best: gives the look of a small waist, refrains from cutting off the legs, and the hem isn't gathered (plenty of room to move)

They have these kind of skirts at h&m in alot of different colours:)

^ Where? Which city? How much?

Love the cream color  Isn't the fabric organza?

I love puffy, full skirts. They're very slimming when they have a mid to high waistline. (At least, they are for me since I'm self-conscious about my hips/thighs.)

And I really want the more egg-shaped skirts, the ones that don't flare out, like shown in perlefine's post, #87.

been coveting this shape for a while. don't know whether i can properly pull it off, but i don't care. ;)

I was positively drooling over h&m's little puffball skirts for the fall season. they're absolutely adorable. I love the structural quality they have...they're completely unique and eye catching. I still can't see a lot of people on the street pulling this off well (I can see people over-accessorising and wearing the wrong type of shoes with these). I definitely would like to give it a try though...

^ I saw them too, in a magazine... and oh they looked so wonderful. I'm still bashing myself for not getting anything at H&M when I went to NY.

Utopia (or anyone else)-what kind of shoes do you think would work?

I was wondering what shoes would be right with ruffball skirts?

I love these skirts. I call them Balloon skirts. They remind me of Barbie circa 1960. I secretly take some fashion tips from vintage Barbie.

I would love one in black at a short length. Someone find me one!!

:yuk: I'm sorry, I really don't like them. I don't like the unnatural shape. They were fashionable in the 80's, that says enough. Sorry!!!

^ these balloon skirts are *everywhere* here... i personally think they are totally adorable. unfortunately, most of them are a little long and i like the shorter length..

I just trying to see myself in the egg puffball. I may try out the Tulip puffball( a slimmed down version) first. The best way to pull off a Puffball is to never wear it with flat shoes I think, but I have seen models do that actually so leaves me confused like a lot of people.I also think the full-on puffball is really an evening look. Wear that with some sexy metallic heel and a mini clutch. Perfect Party look!
