Move over Gisele; meet Querelle. In only her freshman year of posing, Querelle, a 19-year-old Dutch model, has worked with Mario Testino for British Vogue, Steven Meisel for Italian Vogue and Mario Sorrenti for W, not to mention advertising campaigns for Prada and Miu Miu. Her personal style -- a spirited, gaudy mix of mainly vintage looks -- directly influenced not one but two creative powerhouses at the Paris spring collections. Marc Jacobs has said that his multicolored, circus-theme collection for Louis Vuitton was inspired by what Querelle wore to a model casting. ''Marc likes bright stuff and a mix of different styles, which is what I wear every day,'' Querelle says, modestly acknowledging her influence. According to Querelle's booker at City models, Jean Paul Gaultier at Hermes was also smitten and asked her to keep on the makeup that she walked in with, a look that the top makeup artist Stephane Marais applied to the other women in the show. From head to pointy 60's stiletto toe, Querelle is truly one to watch.
