Question about red shoes & nailpolish

Which color pedicure looks best with red shoes? (faux croc peep toes for example )

Kind of a strange question, but they are my first pair of red shoes. Would red look tacky? Should I stick with a nude/pale pink?

If you can find the same shade of red, I think it would be great. Nude and pale pink are safe bets, but could look washed out depending on your skintone. Depending on your style you could do silver, champagne gold or even...fuchsia or even red glitter if you like a kind of glam-rock look...(probably not...)

Love how you guys think like I do about toe nail polish I think it was rhiannonmars who was saying Chanel has a good gold limited edition polish. I have one of their silver LEs. MAC stopped making my favorite (Venus, a grey pearl) ... it will be a sad day when I run out. So if you guys have specific recommendations for a replacement, I would be very interested

I had this probelm with my prom. I had metallic red shoes and couldn't work out what would go so just chose a colour I liked. It was a mid-tone but bright pink with a hint of orange (bad description). It didn't match perfectly but I think it looked nice.

Yeah, the wrong tone can make the eyes distractive of the beauty of the shoe

I'd say wear a natural or nude color- it would be too easy to pick a shade of red that clashed with the shoe color

You should go for french type colour, or very light pink. go for light stuff as your shoes are the things that stands out already. hope that helps.
