The brand's going to have fashion show in Milan 18th,Jan. Is it the first time for its menswear?(if it happened several years ago?)

1. Karl Lagerfeld designs Fendi womenswear and menswear and they have been regularly showing in Milan every season

3. well he has released a little edition series of shoes in collaboration with Church's of London. Quite classic icluding camel spats with black crocodile skin. It is expected that the clothing itself will be quite architectural but in a very classic manner (if that actually answers anything)
4. There is always a new batch of models coming up in the ranks. .. but are you looking for ones that are new and lookinglike they will do well for themselves so to speak... or the big ones that are even hotter
5.Jil Sander of course.... others probably only prad/miu miu.. there' s always far more going on in Paris.. especially as the men's fashion week in Paris is the largest its ever been signifying hopefully a bright future

1. not Karl, it's Silvia Venturini Fendi, not the first time, i saw spring 2005 fendi menswear show, and the later seasons there're presentations not shows

Silvia Venturini Fendi is the creative director of Fendi menswear, but one can't miss the contribution of Alister Mackie, who styles the line and also works as a consultant

When Jil Sander was the creative director of her own label, she did some of the most amazing looks/shows.. her cut was fantastic, and you would feel the perfection of her clothes when you wore it. As she left, you could see the clothes had change drastically.. not for the better..

I saw what Raf Simons did for the upcoming season (S/S 2006).. it didn't really match the classical Jil Sander aesthetic, but it looked promising...

about Fendi i check GQ's website, there's no Fendi's show at all. But Fendi Uomo is lauched in 1990. why GQ missed such an important brand

the venue of Jil Sander's show is quite far from central of Milano
and it's held in 9:30 in the morning
have to be an early bird......

Maria Silvia Venturini Fendi (her full name) designs the menswear line, she also does Fendi accessories for the womens line... Also doesnt Fendi do their shows in Rome instead of Milan...Valentino and Fendi are the two biggest shows that show in Rome instead of Milan, but I'm not sure if these apply to the menswear collections.

As for the hottest male models out: Will Chalker, Tyson Balou, Ryan Synder, Romulo Pires,Noah,Henry,Joao, Andres (who poses nude in the past issue of arena homme!!)

Best show: In milan: Dolce & Gabbana, D&G, Gucci
In Paris: JOHN GALLIANO HOMME WILL BE THE HOTTEST SHOW AS ALWAYS!!!!!

1 and 2 have allready been answered but for 3:
hopefully something better than his own line for s/s 05 - his worst collection imo

4. i think danny bauchamp (sp?), chris doe maybe? henry possibly will chalker (havnt seen much of him as much as past seasons)

5. Vivienne Westwood and McQueen - both amaizing designers i'd like to go to a dsquared2 show because they seem fun
also i wanna go to d&g to laugh and the awful clothes

jil sander absolutely. pretty much the only interesting show on the schedule for me. however i am worried that it will look just like the collections done by the design team. he would have been a much better fit at helmut lang. i feel like bertelli is destroying the HL brand as punishment or something.

Since questions #1-4 have basically been answered (or addressed), I'll just answer #5.

My favorite label to attend a show at is (still) Dolce & Gabbana. I don't really mind if it's Via San Damiano or wherever. And I'm a fan of their designs. So there.
