That picture is gorgeous.Rachel is quickly becoming one of my favorite new models along with Denisa and Olga.

Her voice, to me, always sounds different, which is really cool.
It confuses me! It is always different. It sounds like she picked up a bit of European/English accent... She's so adorable though. I love her laugh.

And too bad she's not going to be on the cover of Vogue Italia! :(

some people automatically pick up the accents that they're surrounded by, and I've known a few people who literally can't help it. like when they're talking to a spanish person on the phone, they just start sounding spanish without meaning to. maybe rachel's doing a little bit of picking up on the many, many accents around her?

Hmm you know, when I first saw Freja Beha and coco rocha i thought "what are people thinking? SO unattractive! are models simply signed because they're tall and skinny?" but the more I looked at them out of curiosity, the more I realized their beauty, and they grew on me. when I first saw rachel i didn't think she was ugly necessarily, but I definately thought she was bland. her features didn't stand out at ALL (same thing with behati but worse, who i now think is one of the most beautiful people ever), aside from her reddish brown hair which i love (!!!) Anywho, what I'm trying to get at is that NOW, I think Rachel is really growing on me, and I see that she DOES have some unique features, such as her eyebrows and eyes, and that what once seemed boring to me now is actually quite fresh!! SO yeah, guess I gotta take back what I said earlier;)

I'm really glad she's growing on you! :D I can see where some people might see her as run-of-the-mill, but Rachel's appeal for me is in the fact that her beauty is completely and utterly classic in a modeling world full of your coco rochas and sasha pivovarovas. people are going for strange and unique and new, and rachel combines classic sharpness with an incredibly fresh perspective.
