What does everyone think of them (Rachel Pally clothes)? Im thinking about getting the knickers (knee length gauchos). Do the gauchos & the knickers both have a fold over waist band?

Also Im obsessed with the bloomers. I know theyre silly but I think they are kind of cute. Does anyone know where I can get them? I only found them one place online & they were one size to big & dark orange. I want the peachy color like the model is wearing. Thanks. :flower:

Does anyone know or have a list of the best stores online for the best prices online for RACHEL PALLY clothing? Thanks a bunch.

Yes, but they don't carry much online and the last time I went to their store in Santa Monica the sales person didn't even know where I should look. : ) So, I decided to stay online to do all my searching. Thanks.

So I just bought my first piece by Rachel Pally. The sleeveless split back mini dress is sea blue. I cant believe the prices of RP. They are alot more the Ella Moss who I have lots of & love. They are both cut with unfinished edging but RP seems cheaper some how (or it could just be this dress I guess) & I dont know if its the modal that makes RP that much more but I dont think its that much softer than my EM items either. I got this dress on sale though & I do have to say it has an amazing fit!! So Im keeping it because I love it lol. I would just never pay full price for it.

My big question is... of the people that have RP do you have to dry clean like it says or has anyone tryed to do a gentle handwash cycle in their machine? I would hang dry for sure by I was just wondering about the washing.

Thanks.

Got my dress and leggings from shopbop.com..love them..very comfy..

Well I did dry clean them..though my mom always told me theres no need to do so..a handwash would be fine..

^^i've had success washing my rp dresses on the delicate cycle w/ cold water in the washing machine, and drying flat.

i agree on never paying full price for pally.. but then.. i also feel that way about ella moss or velvet or any jersey stuff :ninja:

enjoy your dress!!

Thats true. Even though Ella Moss is cheaper then RP I think I only paid full price for Ella Moss twice & they were both way under $100.00.
Thanks so much about the washing... I just hate having to dry clean things. If I know I can wash it it makes it alittle better price wise (even the sale price wasnt overly cheap lol) because Ill wear it more often Im sure.

I was trying to find some threads on Rachel Pally here on tFS. According to a bio I read on shopbop.com concerning Rachel Pally, here was what I read:

"Rachel Pally minored in Dance at the University of California-Berkeley, and this background cultivated her appreciation for grace, fluidity, and expression. These elements may just be the backbone of every piece in the designer's collection. Rachel Pally takes the incredible comfort of jersey and gives it a luxurious and sophisticated look. The designs are timeless and sexy, and it's no surprise, as the designer counts Catherine Deneuve and Martha Graham among her muses." -Designer Bio on Rachel Pally on shopbop.com

Most jersey items are casual ranging from skirts to pants. If any designer offers up a tasteful and stylish take on jersey, let it be Rachel Pally. She's one of my newest designers I have respect for. Not overbearingly beautiful, but simplistic beauty.

Rachel Pally does a lovely job making mostly jersey garments looking great. If that's your favorite fabric, I don't think you can really go wrong with all or most of her designs.

i love love love her stuff, though i wish it wouldn't be so expensive. any other designers that have similar stuff for cheaper?

i like her better than ella moss. ella moss can seem cheap and tacky and way too boho sometimes but rp always knows where to stop so it become casual and fun instead.
