Thanks for posting the collection here. I watched the livestream yesterday and liked it a lot. Totally awesome collection
i always liking their collection! omg i want all the jackets!
I quite liked this, great sunglasses.
te white pieces are the only thing that look
different to me and i can only imagine the stress the dressers
went through to put those together
well it's a break from the summery themes of all the other shows but i still don't like it
Thank you for posting the full collection bluechip I always look forward to seeing what Rad show each season.
I do really like it, but it doesn't vary much from last season at all. Rad brings out great looking clothes but there's nothing all that new. It's the kind of things I would buy though (if it didn't just come in one size...)
Coolest thing in town! Absolutely love it. I know it looks a bit redudant but its always a pleasure to see someone do what he loves the way he loves, without paying attention to the trends.
well, i guess we're not going to see lagerfeld gallery in paris so we better get our dose here and now: with that said, i'm simply impressed at this kind of rigor and focus out of a new york designer. this stuff would hold up not only in paris, but in antwerp. there's something that reminds me of givenchy in some of the looks, but without all of the religious baggage. this is just pure, clean fashion. and the sunglasses are a must have.
The show was amazing live! The sunglasses are definitely a must have. Rad is consistently improving without losing his clear vision and aesthetic. His clothes may not look completely different season after season, but he plays with shape, styling, and fabrics so well and make his collections still interesting. He made PVC look like leather and expensive. He attracted quite the crowd with Kate Lanphear, Imran Amed, and Jeremy Laing at his show.
It said this was Rad by Rad Hourani on the livestream?
Why is that?
I found it disappointing - again. He jsut does the same thing over and over - men in high-heels wearing skinny leather trousers with slits at the knee. It must sell well, but surely he should vary it..?
style.com had it listed as Rad Hournai
but ford models blog has it listed as RAD by Rad Hourani
so i don't know for sure
Totally agree with you here. One could argue that it's very hypocritical of me to say such a thing because I really admire designers like Ann Demeulemeester and Yohji Yamamoto, who often get criticized for doing the same thing season after season with black... but with these two it feels completely different because whenever I look at their pieces... it's as if they were attached with emotions and designed with a story in mind. At least to me, a collection is interesting when it is mysterious. Rad Hourani's collections are nice on the surface but they are just so stark they leave me indifferent.
This is a Rad by Rad Hourani collection, not his mainline. Rad Hourani will be shown in Paris.
Rad in Paris?
It makes sense that this is all the same if this is Rad by Rad, fingers crossed for mainline!
