maybe they will only show on your TV the more important matches later on? these are the first matches so they aren't that important, but they still show them here because Rafa is Spanish I guess
I'm sure he'll go far though, you'll get to see him play don't worry!

Uggh i have not been able to find any olympic tennis on tv! At least not on the main channel, which is NBC in the US. Swimming and gymnatics is always on instead

I haven't seen a single tennis match on TV yet . I guess they'll be airing the later matches...? NBC did really love Nadal in the opening ceremony, though, hahahaha. He got a lot of camera time and was adorable and smiley as always .

I saw an interview and he said that he was sooo happy to be at the olympics and being able to see great athletes he admire and most of all to be with the other spanish tennis players sharing the room and not alone as usual.

I thought it was so adorable. You would think that someone as important as him would want to be alone, but he was just a normal person enjoying the time with friends

yeah Rafa is definitely very humble and down to earth, and he seems to really like watching other sports (he watches the basketball etc) so I guess he must be really happy being with all these people
playing against Andreev right now...

Rafa won today again, 6 0 6 4 (the first set was unbelievably easy for him, and the match started at midnight Beijing time!), and he plays against Novak tomorrow

One of the guys who comment on the match used to be a tennis player (Àlex Corretja) so he's friends with Rafa, and he said they were talking before and Rafa was scared because he lost his laundry ticket and didn't know how to get his clean clothes back
