Rag & Bone Pre-Fall 2011

I think this such a pretentious and easy collection ( not in a good way).
The clothes are cool, and edgy, but the whole mood and inspiration is a bit predictable coming from Rag&Bone. Even the model choice ( and god knows how much I adore Hanne-Gaby) is a bit too obvious. Street-style isn't a bad thing if you try to go deep and present something new and exciting.

agree with mikeijames, there's a strange L train vibe coming out of this.
For some reason though, I don't hate it, it is cheap-looking but not in a vulgar way and I think that compensates a little.
Aside from that, I feel like they're getting a bit dizzy after the crazy exposure their work has received.. their S/S 11 collection was considerably out of sync with pretty much everything they've been doing since the beginning and this looks like they caught up on that and desperately attempted to built a link to their FW 10.11 collection.. it's all too confusing for me and I think they're trying too hard, they should loosen up a little, pretend less.. and I'm sure the results will be much better than their past 2 collections.

I don't like this at all.

Clothes for people with no individual sense of style or any sort of good taste of their own, who just swallow a full look that's perceived as cool.
This is clones material.

^i don't know a single rag & bone customer who does the brand head-to-toe.

^ There's a good brooklyn? lol kidding Those boots look fine, but they've become so trendy these days, everyone wears them.
