Rain Boots (Wellies)

^^I agree...I'm getting a pair in black, as I didn't completely love the ones at Marc Jacobs, even though they are now only $17!

^ I saw, they're cute, the twotone. I did get a ton of flipflops and stock up on christmas gift tshirts.

im not completely in love with rain boots. I once wore them as regular boots and regret every minute of it.

I'm in need of some rain boots, as it rains here A LOT. I've been putting it off because they've looked bad 90% of the time that I've seen others wearing them. I think it may be because the girls here opt for the bright/patterned boots with their jeans cuffed to a length above the top of the boot (rather than tucking their jeans into the boot).

I'm deciding between black Hunters, green Hunters, and these black Burberry boots. Any opinions?

I LOVE rainboots! I bought a pair last year from target.com for only $20. They're light green with green apples all over them. I also bought a yellow pair with pink and white flowers. They're so practical and very cute. I've gotten so many compliments on them. I love wearing my green pair with my trench. It's such a fun look.

marjan pejoski's got a gorgeous pair of wellies in his new spring 08 collection. they're not really for rain but inspired by wellingtons. they're leather and they come in combat sole style and a flat sole(which wasn't pictured).

i  LOVE marjan pejoski but i always have a hard time finding where to buy the stuff.. do you know of any website selling those?
they look like a dream

I just got some Hunter wellies in Navy. I just got them so I havent got the chance to wear them out yet but I LOVE THEM!!
For those who live in cold climates are they warm with just socks? I got the Hunter fleece liners to go with them but they were pretty expensive for a sock so if they are fine in the winter with just a thick sock Im sending them back.
Thanks.

dandy,go to his website and get the contact info for liliana sanguino--she handles his sales--and request a password to his buyer entry and you can put in orders directly that way. if it's an option, you'd be keen on.

tiffany7 (or anyone else who has a pair of hunters)- did you order them in your normal size? i am a 6.5-7 in converse sneakers/havs, 37-38 in various styles of loubs, 37 pretty much across the board for lanvin...what do you think?

i have black Hunter boots and also a black Huntress boots too (the female version of the Hunter family). my mother got me the Burberry and Pucci rainboots because she thought it's so me  .... but i prefer my Hunters.

to the poster who asks about the fleece socks. If you got one, i suggest you keep it. it's worth it during the cold days, that is if you live in a place that reaches in the 30's and below.

i want a pair of electric blue rain boots. didn't come across any yet. except for some girls ones that didnt come in my size

^ i like it but the big Burberry Logo on the side kind of makes it tacky

Aigle and Hunter are classic and chic, and really serve the purpose. I do not like rain boots that have designs on them, nor designer brands (despite the fact that I regrettably had burberry plaid ones in high school).
