Rain Boots (Wellies)

Have they ever gone out of fashion? singing in the rain.

ps. the top pair are beautiful.
Thanks! They finally arrived and they're even more beautiful than on the picture. Now waiting for the next rain to try them outside.
Also liked these from Dav (from ideeli).

I broke down and bought the Hunter/Jimmy Choo rain boots about a month ago! And
I'm in LUV with them. I get tons of compliments everytime I wear them....

ETA: will take some pics when I get a chance.

The floral pair are gorgeous. I need to be more adventurous and not always buy black or green boots.

I usually think these are sorta ugly, but that floral pair has the nicest print! If you have to walk a lot outside to work, etc. I think these are a cute choice!

I'm so happy I got my new navy Hunter boots last week because it's raining here for four days now.
They're are really comfy (even more than my Aigle boots).

I do have a very useful pair of Hunter Wellies too, That came in handy with the floods in England recently, but I keep foaming at the mouth over pairs like this by Burberry and Givenchy, but since they're for women, they don't exceed a size 8 or 9 and that won't touch my awful size 11's :ninja:.

I love the equestrian style of them both, which is something I'm after and they're not a bad price either and with them both being rubber they'll be easy to maintain, no polishing or whatever.

^ I really like those, they are simple and a good style & color. I'm not into the floral or patterned wellies, I prefer black or a dark green. Unfortunately, it doesn't rain much here, not enough to really get some use out of them. Still I usually see girls wearing patterned ones with sweats or athletic shorts

I love love love the first pair you posted Chanelcouture09! I have a pair of 'mini' Hunters with laces on,I'm a sucker for wellies with laces. Just because it's wet doesn't mean your wellies have to be scruffy!

I have these Ecuyer boots by Aigle that I bought at Club Monaco last year. They're wonderful. I never liked how chunky Hunter boots looked and the fact that they flapped around on your leg. These fit very slim on the leg and are lined with padded leather so they are incredibly warm. The only issue is that I am 5ft10 and they come right up to the back of my knee-someone who is shorter may find them too tall.
