Happy for Ine and the timeless Ms Sherer but I saw those earlier and assumed they were lookbook images...

There's this archive footage 50th Anniversary campaign running in print as well.

Ines is such a classic beauty! She suits RL to a tee.

I wish someone can explain Ralph Lauren's fascination with Russian girls. So odd. I'm not hating, just wondering, that's all.

The clothes basically look like something I've seen countless times before, but I love that green velvet dress! Actually rather timeless, and very synonymous with his brand. The shot of the model in the gold dress (Sessilee?) in front of the light aircraft is remarkably timeless and one of my favourite. He's had some good campaigns.

That’s actually Ubah Hassan :flower:

I think it's related to his family's roots in Russia or Belarus. Olga is from the latter actually.

Anyway, I am beyond overjoyed at seeing Olga back in a blue chip campaign! Work!

A. They are good models and are happy to take a multi year contract and only really work for RL. A lot of girls say no.
B. He is a fantasist, I'm sure he looks at the imagery of the old Russian Empire and all the lavish and beautiful clothes and palaces of the aristocrats, czars, grand dukes and duchesses, and finds it inspirational. He see's that in them.
C. Same thing as B with his fascination with British high society.

Just my opinion.

Shot by Josh Olins and styled by Géraldine Saglio.

It is sad that Bruce Weber could no longer work with them. For me he knows the best of Ralph Lauren.

This is cheap American version of Isabel Marant. Yike!

My bad, this was actually shot by Lachlan Bailey

(DNA had posted the campaign with incorrect credits)
