Raquel Zimmermann

It's easy to like a model like Raquel Zimmermann. Not that she's the only one, of course. But I'm her fan. Actually, we don't know each other very well. But I like her. Raquel, who has been number 1 on models.com top 50 list for over a year, barely works in Brazil. Here, she's exclusive for Animale, a carioca brand, and when she comes we always book her for covers and interviews for Vogue magazine. The life of this blonde gaúcha with blue eyes, 1,78 of height, 24 years old, is really busy. She lives in New York – rumor has it, in an incredible apartment – with her boyfrirnd, chilean and photographer. But she doesn't spned much time there, because of her countless campaigns, fashion shows and editorials. Recently, she photographed the S/S 2009 Marc Jacobs campaign in Venice. The photographer Juergen Teller, was so amazed, that took her to Berlim for another job. They became good friends. Easy to understand. Raquel is cool, discreet and involved with what she does. She is nice to people. She can make any look modern. Everything she wears automaticaly turns hi-lo, a concept hard to get, but it's natural in Raquel. She's eclectic and elegant. She colects and play guitars, rides skates and loves Klimt. She has three works by him, with the money she got after 10 yers working, she can afford even more.

I'll finish this second part later, I have to go now. :flower:

Here it is:
She's not ecletic only with her personal taste, but also with her work. Even though she's always featured in amarican and french Vogue, the most wanted titles for a model, she doesn't work only for them. She's waorks with plenty of photographers, like David Sims, Mario Testino, Inez & Vinoodh and Mario Sorrenti. Raquel is not a exclusive model, that makes her more of a chameleon model, which is good. Besides the right attitude, do you know what I like the most about her? The fact she did not get breast implants to please others, printing her own style in everuthing she does. It's not a surprise she got there.

This is an article written by the director of Carta editorial, which owns Vogue Brazil. Can't wait to see what she shot with Juergen Teller :woot:
