First of all just wanna say I love the pics from Vogue US David Sims always makes the most of Raquel IMO ands she looks amazing there.
Also love the total edginess of the W ed.B) she is reminding me of Lady Gaga as someone said earlier and Anita Pallenberg (when she was a lot younger). I think it's just the hairstyle.

At the age of 17 you were already on the cover of Vogue Paris but your modeling career has started before.
I started modeling in my native country - Brazil when I was 14. An agent discovered me and short after that I went to Paris.

Your success is linked with a photographer Steven Meisel who first noticed your beauty.
Yes. He photographed me for my first big cover and nowadays we collaborate in bigger ad campaigns. Sometimes he says I'm his muse but I don't believe him, because everyone in the fashion world is capricious and the ideal (concept) of the beauty changes rapidly.

How do you deal with uncertainty?
Sometimes great, sometimes not so great, it depends on my mood. I know I won't be on the top of the fashion scale forever (mdc?), that's logical. I'm just wondering what am I gonna do when I won't be or I'll be less wanted. Being a model is everything I want in this moment.

Where do you live?
For a long time I lived in hotels and on planes but now I finally moved to NY that has become my new home.

How do you relax?
I love playing guitar. I got it for my birthday from a boyfriend and along with a book of music notes. I would never thought I'll like it so much.

Do you have any free time?
Much. I travel a lot but I always take time in between for me and my other half. I'm lucky because he's a model too so he understands me. Every free moment I have I dedicate it to him.

I am. We've been together for six years and all I can say is he's my world.
