The island of Ibiza is perhaps best known for its riotous nightlife, though it’s also a haven for artists and bohemians alike. It was this sort of duality that attracted the designer for resort.
Minkoff looked to the region’s traditional elements, such as intricate lacework and the rich hues of the Mediterranean, and worked them into modern silhouettes. She reimagined her moto jacket and fun overall shorts in persimmon-colored perforated suede and showed a full skirt in sporty blue mesh. Spanish tiles and plates inspired the stripes and imperfect dots on a series of feminine tops and relaxed pants, which all tied in nicely with the fringed and boxy bags.
