Last night I popped to the Swarovski store in Oxford Circus to witness the unveiling of international supermodel Helena Christensen’s Unsigned Model search winners.

Sipping on champagne, guests admired the models Helena Christensen had hand-picked after a nationwide search last year. The winners, Freya McHugh and Reece Sanders, are the new faces of the Swarovski Crystallized S/S 2012 campaign which will be featured in the UK, the US, China, and Russia, and the campaign was shot by Christensen herself.

I caught up with Reece who was discovered as he left a tattoo parlour in Nottingham.

‘It has been incredible’ he exclaimed. ‘I have been in Milan and Paris last week modelling. Next week I am going to New York and Tokyo! It is very overwhelming for me, before all this I was working in a call centre and I’d only really travelled to France.’

With razor sharp cheek bones and a chiselled jaw line, I am sure the world is this 19 year olds’ oyster.

‘Helena has been amazing to work with and I would love to do more with her in the future.’
