Reem Acra said that travel inspires her more than anything, be it her business trips to the Middle East, dressage horse competitions or excursions just for fun. Her most recent vacation in Sardinia — and its light and bright colors — showed up in resort’s shimmering embellishments with gold, silver and turquoise on the bodices of white ballgowns and sequined twinsets over fluid white crepe pants. “I like embroidery to look like jewelry,” said Acra, who also featured simple and sexy sheer stretch lace columns that were lined only to the thighs — a favorite reveal for many evening designers this season.
