Alaia's New Ally

Believe it or not, but Rei Kawakubo is embarking on yet another
fashion collaboration. The enigmatic and supremely innovative
designer has already been working with Vivienne Westwood on a
joint brand in Japan for the past couple of years, and she just
signed a deal to co-design a collection for sportswear firm Fred
Perry. Now, Kawakubo has been approached by another enigmatic and
innovative icon - Azzedine Alaia. Allegedly, the two will merge
their creative powers for an upcoming line of t-shirts.

actually i saw the t shirts of theis collaboration at the 10corsocomo store in tokyo and thought that it was meaningless........and unnecessary and strictly for groupies !!
