He took patchwork to a whole new level in this collection.

Some of it is quite nice, especially the dresses but it's a little too 'color blocky' for me. I also feel that it lacks direction. That said, I still wouldn't mind that tangerine colored dress.

HEY Nemova !! You're not showing us all what the Brasilien fashion week has to offer!! ^_^ :innocent:

Cavalera

some of it is abit heavy maybe because of the season otherwise not a bad collection

omg...hanne...:o

i tend to like the same ones as nemova...i think we have similar features and colouring and so probably tend to look good in similar colours, etc ...

i also agree with meg that it is a bit scattered with ideas...and it's very brazilian...i haven't yet been able to put my finger on what makes it 'brazilian' esactly...

but i think it has something to do with colour and movement and shoulders and embellishment...these seem to be recurring themes and prevalent in the south american style in general from what i've obseved over the years...

look at oscar de la renta...same feeling i think...though he's adapted it for a more north american conservatism...just thinking out loud...:p ...again...

i also like the colours here and it reminds me a bit of that peasant look YSL did in the 70's which i'm just a sucker for... :D

thanks for the topic and the pics nemova... :flower:
