A lot of people were leaving the show halfway because it was apparently really bad, but Hilary Alexander told me that it was very pretty-bronze and gold fringing.

I saw the casting board afterwards and it's very chloe ss09 in some ways. The hair is up in a big braid.

^^ I'm skeptical to that, not to kushie's post but the idea that something was bad enough to make them leave, it makes me question what kind of person can't put up to a 15 minute show and feels the need to be rude and walk out.. perhaps they were expecting something radically different.. perhaps they're not even into fashion all that much to keep some small curiosity.

I like palette so far, the fringes are weird but.. we'll see.

The hats are terrible, horrible even. But leaving is OTT, there has been worse in fashion.

Yeah leaving is incredibly rude and I wouldn't even dream of doing it.
But I can imagine that people were surprised that he wasn't up to his usual incredibly beautiful, simple, wearable pieces. This just doesn't look like Richard Nicoll at all.

I think the styling is awful, but if you took the actual garments out of the those looks, I don't mind them. It's the hats, and the earrings and the weird purple fringing put on their arms that makes this as bad as it appears I feel! But even saying that, this certainly isn't even close to his best.

i don't really understand why this is that absurd? or maybe its just me and i like a bit of absurd but i haven't seen anything in it that would warrant a walk-out. in fact,i've seen far worse already. what gets me is that if indeed that's the case,how strange with so much bad stuff on the catwalks this show would be the one to generate such a bad taste. i don't get it. i suppose it is as they say,fashion is fickle and so maybe are the watchers??

looks bad! Richard can be quite very tricksy and luckily his 2 or 3 past seasons he has managed to change our perception towards his work.... but this is VERY Richard.. look at his older collections , this one seems to be a revival of the old himself.
