Richard Quinn S/S 2024 London

Pretty bold to do a collection like this. I'm pretty sure he'll cherry pick some elements to incorporate into wearable and sellable rtw.

His work is so strange, because when you strip it away from the shows and put it into the retail sphere it embodies nothing except the designs they rip off.

It looks no different to Demna's Vetements/early Balenciaga, touches of Prada with the overcoats, Giambattista and Nina Ricci, maybe Rochas (when they were in better creative positions) with other fellow contemporaries that he can try to rip off on the down low (Palmer Harding...). There really is no point to his brand and collections.

An absolute highlight of London Fashion Week, as Richard Quinn has become for me. This collection is just so sophisticated, ladylike, regal and oozes a strong sense of old-school haute couture that I cannot help but to be drawn like a moth to a flame. I am also extremely appreciative of the fact Quinn brings a bit of drama an elegance to LFW! Massive fan.
