This is easily his worst collection yet, followed by least season. I'm truly surprised by this because his menswear was SO strong.

Even if you look at the individual pieces w/o all the usual runway elements, a good number of it looks really, really heavy-handed. Just a bit overworked here. I think these clothes would be better off if he took out just one single detail, like the strips of fur around the gloves, or the triangular brown attachments.

And the shoes..well, sometimes, at the end of the day, an ugly pair of shoes is just an ugly pair of shoes.

i agree. his menswear was so well put together but this is somewhat sloppy. hate the comforters and the printed pieces and especially the tights. love the fur though especially the little touches on the gloves.

ps the hair with makeup freak me out.

Hmmm.. It's like planet of the reptiles! I like some of the pieces but some are just a bit too unwearable for my liking. Heh, if I ever need a fashionable sleeping bag, I know now where to get one.

I'm a fan of the tights and the skirts though, they might be something I consider purchasing...

I think this was sort of a statement to all those designers and chain stores who rip off his designs, as this will be quite hard to copy (except the tights of course). It's very different but like someone said, it might just take a longer time to digest.. Well, we have until next winter, right?
