GRAMMY Awards will take place on February 12 (Sunday) in Los Angeles and we just can’t wait to see Rihanna performing! On this occasion we’ve decided to give you every day a post dedicated to Rihanna’s appearances at this prestigious award show. Today we’re going to focus on her red carpet style!

2007: Rihanna showed up for the first time in 2007 wearing a beautiful Roberto Cavalli green gown. Back then she was still sporting brown hair in medium bob.

2008: The next year Rihanna decided to wear blue dress from Zac Posen‘s Spring 2008 collection. At this time she had one of our favorite short black hairdo. This was a big night for Rihanna. She won her first Grammy (Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Umbrella”) and performed with band The Time.

2010: Rihanna made her Grammy comeback in 2010 wearing a high neck, open back crepe gown with chiffon applique, stone and feather detailing at the bodice from Elie Saab Haute Couture. She finished off her look with earrings and bracelet by Neil Lane and rings from Diamond in the Rough and “Lance” sandals by Jimmy Choo. At this time she was having a blond mohawk.

2011: Red hair Rihanna showed up last year on Grammy’s Red Carpet wearing fresh-off-catwalk Jean Paul Gaultier sheer gown and Christian Louboutin shoes. During the night she also performed twice. “What’s My Name” with Drake and “Love The Way You Lie” with Eminem. For the final performance she decided for a very dramatic Christian Dior Fall 2010 Couture gown. And we loved this choice!

Drake and Rihanna have shot a music video for their latest collaboration, “Take Care”, from Drake’s latest album.

Rihanna to perform in Japan this Summer

Rihanna and Green Day are set to headline this year’s Summer Sonic music festival in Japan on August 18 & 19.

Sony explained for fans overseas that Summer Sonic “is a huge summer music festival in Tokyo and Osaka, Aug 18-19th this year.” They further stated that the festival goes on both August 18 and 19 in both cities, and that the artists switch around between the cities.
