I just saw this on BBC, even though i hardly go on tfs anymore due to work, I feel I need to come here to at least pay a tiny tribute to the legend.

RIP Mr McQueen, you were, and always will be an inspiration for aspiring designers.

I'm in shock of his death, he was so young, he was very creative, etc.

When I was a kid, we were extremely poor, and I always remember being bullied on the days you could wear your clothes to school because mine were all hand me downs and unfashionable. When I grew up a little, I saw a Mcqueen line and that was what drew me to become obsessed with fashion, despite never ever being able to afford any of his clothing, I coveted every single line, every show, he inspired me and invoked a passion that nothing other than a musician had done in me before.

I honestly cannot believe he's dead. I cannot believe there will never be another Mcqueen collection to shock, excite and obsess over.

He was such an inspiration and brilliant. I dont think there is any other designer out there for me that gets me excited about fashion week like McQueen does..

this is the man who inspired me the most to get into fashion me and millions others he was not just a designer he was an artist a true visionary his influence was so great on many people his memory n spirit will live on in his wonderful breath takin designs n in the hearts ofofof those who he taught to love fashion :hearts: i cant even begin to imagine what his poor family are going through two losses in a week hopefully his many achievements in his sadly short life will be some consolation to them r.i.p sweetheart xxx
