Robert Wun Haute Couture F/W 2025.26 Paris

Interesting shapes, intriguing ideas… but after multiple seasons on the scene I am going to pick things apart for him…

Some way somewhat some how, I feel like there could be more “finesse” into what he’s doing… not too sure if it’s the photography, lighting, budget or what… there’s a sense of “cheapness”, or “rawness” if you want to put it into a nicer manner, in his creations

For example, the sheer crinoline look with the blue taffeta(?) jacket, I can see the creases and the weave lines of the fabric through the photos, the fabric looks thick/heavy too. I am wondering if he could choose another fabric, or a more expensive one with less creases, or use a lighter fabric with more internal structure to maintain the shape, or the current effect is his own creative choice

And since this is “haute couture”, could the pointy ends of the lapels be “sharper”? Now they look a bit… “blunt”. And given a look like this I am looking for something that will “cut through” or I-want-to-see-some-blood

The full length beige gown look with the feathered headpiece before the above mentioned look also has its own issues… I am not too sure if it’s intended to look a bit “puffy”, but the creases at the bottom helm of the gown does look a bit “concerning”…

Maybe, I think… I am asking for a bit too much
