I think, after the amount of criticism his collections normally receive, on here and elsewhere, he lost his nerve somewhat.

Especially with the impact of the recession/depression...

I like RC best when his collections are luxe, opulent, vintage-inspired, glamourous and sexy (without being overtly so); A/W '06, for example.

^ I wasn't aware of the marriage break-up either but having seen more I like the silk or organza dresses with the decorative flowers as for the rest I haven't got a clue what they were trying to achieve but this is what I see........Laura Ashley crossed with a dandy fop crossed with my grandma's old curtains.

Some of the prints are rather adorable and I like that transparency thing going on but hate the execution.

What is this, all I wanted on this cloudy saturday afternoon was a little pick me up of sexy, sl*tty, glamazons with blown out hair and dresses double stick taped within an inch of their lives cavorting down the runway, and I get some kind of odd Ralph Lauren reference.

I'm so disappointed,since Roberto is my favorite designer after Donatella...the collection is just BAD!It seems like he designed clothes for farmers!The final dresses are way too simple and plain and everything lacks of Cavalli signature style.
I miss the old collections so much,they were sexy,glamorous,over the top and eye catching but now the wow effect is gone
