I just found this short video clip showing several of Olivier's drawings and childhood videos... I guess some of you might enjoy watching it!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE his illustration style. It's a great video. Watching that really reminded me how much of a shame that losing Rochas is...even if we still have Olivier, what he did at Rochas was so inspiring.

Did he use watercolors for those illustrations? They're just so gorgeous!

I totally agree with you. His clothes are so elegant... I him. Wonder what's next

No problem, I thought you guys would be equally stunned as I was when I saw the video. I absolutely adore his illustration style, it's so non-fussy for a fashion drawing, yet at the same time, very detailed and precise. I really hate those cartoon-esque drawings that Donatella Versace does.

Unfortunately I don't have it in another format... I cannot see it myself when I browse through on my own computer, gladly though, we have an iMac in store...!

Did you see that these guys were also doing the Canaries- and Papillon installation for Olivier's previous shows?

great! i know lots of people with macs...
and yes, the image of the butterflies (what show was it...fall '04?) stayed with me.
although, i do not remember any canaries.
