Rodarte F/W 2023.24 New York

Well, I'm not going to hide it, I'm disappointed because it's been a while since I last saw a Rodarte collection and this one looks like the half of the shadow of what it used to be times ago. That said, I enjoyed a couple outfits but is it enough when you see how many looks you have in a collection?

They already showed a couple of questionable collections in their career, but this one takes the cake. Their brand just went from worse to worser.

The last dress lol, I just can't. Who the h*** would want to walk around looking like a human-size cheerleader pompom?

i remember loving their collections so much back in the day. i picked up a few pieces online (those collections where they were prolly auditioning for balenciaga  please don't judge) but their price points were really outrageous in comparison to the manufacture quality it was hard to sustain my enthusiasm

its been many seasons since then and but with this collection i'm also for some reason so totally for these pieces with the fairy illustrations even though they are :yuk:??? tacky but they feel so unapologetic and authentic at the same time. they remind me of those deviant art style storyline games i used to play lol :ninja: i want them!? burn me at the stake

I am so sad looking at this. I just remember those stunning collections they were doing in the early 2010's. They were so beautiful and chic. Wasn't there a rumor that LVMH was considering buying them at that time? That could have been why those collections were so damn good. I guess it didn't work out so they stopped trying to make appealing clothing. Even then that shouldn't have stopped them. They could have evolved their brand into something great, instead it's one gimmick after another.
