What do you get when you mix Sylvia Plath’s symbolic bell jar with Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein laboratory? None other than Mark Walsh and Leslie Chin’s Fall 2009 jewelry collection for Rodarte. Sadly enough, the pieces didn’t make it to the runway in time for February’s fashion week but fortunately, they will be available for purchase! To compliment Rodarte’s mummified collection, Walsh and Chin created evocative geodes under jars and tangled broken glass, so very reminiscent of our high school chemistry courses. The 21-piece lineup will be sold at Colette in Paris and Capitol in Charlotte, North Carolina this fall.
