I like some of the looks ans am glad many of the designers are showing colourful easy collections we need it during these dark times.

The way their taste level has degraded is frightening, I already feel bad for young girls that are forced into garments with similar prints...I don't know what I'd feel for adults wearing them.

The plain 40s dresses aren't that bad but that hideous headgear ruins them. Those things are a craft that you'd make at summer camp, not something a profesional designer should be presenting.

I would agree. I don't understand why some of these brands don't evolve, and bring on someone else to provide creative direction. The fall collection was a lot better, but if I had a brand I would be most concerned with holding onto the level of creative and social greatness. This does neither to push them back to the highest level.

The first thing that comes to mind is “Clothing Line”. I don’t see anything special that would define it as a “Collection”. You could go to The Vampires Wife and get these clothes for much cheaper. Rodarte is not worth the time or money anymore.

Saw some product photography of this collection, and the 40's floral pieces are actually very nice and attractive and hit the right note of retro, but still contemporary looking.

I think what's wrong here is that the styling and presentation is all wrong, that and, of course, the more logo'd stuff...that's where I think they're in a rut. Cut all that out.

The 40's stuff is great. Push it just a little bit, give it to me in just a little more straightforward way. I don't need the fussy stuff anymore.
