Rogan's bespoke selection also boasts an appreciation for Americana, but their modernist aesthetic reflects more blue-collar values. This autumn, the casual cool factor of this New York-based company should transition nicely into dressy sophistication with the debut of A Litl Betr, a line of hand-tailored suits for men (and women). The snug-fitting silk and linen suits come in dark colors, lined with silk brocade, and with buttons crafted from black mother of pearl or ebony wood. An ensemble in the latter fabric is textured and surface-treated in such a manner that it's not only season-appropriate, but is a manifestation of the artisanal craftsmanship prided by the label.

ah....thanks runner...!!...:flower:

i like the idea of the hand-crafted ebony wood buttons...
not so sure i want to buy a bespoke suit from a jeans company...
strikes me as an unusual progression...

yeah, what she said..........but really, why go from denim to bespoke

shambles--what's weird and unflattering about it? It looks like a slim tailored suit jacket to me? I'm curious what you're seeing:flower:

(I really like the image)

It looks a little pulled around the waist to me - and the sleeves balloon out ever so slightly.

I took out an unnecessary negative comment to add: I also like the image.

I'm sure this could be great stuff, but...

The brocade lining sounds slightly gimmicky somehow, and the pic doesn't portray this as a tailored quality line. The jacket is a bit too tight, the pocket flaps turn outwards and the sleeves aren't properly fitted. Notice how they don't have a straight and smooth outline towards the top, where the arm meets the shoulder? If this is a serious attempt, it's a shame to ruin it with images like the above.

It looks a bit bland to be considered as bespoke. Or at least what we percieve as bespoke. There's really not alot in the cutting and construction that thrills me. It's very Kenneth Cole to me.

I agree. My first impression was that the shape reminded me of a Coke bottle.

Photographically speaking, I also like the image.

And what is your impression, dear Faust??

I know when speaking about Rogan before you had a slight disdain for it...and this bespoke makes me wonder ;)

My impression is that the whole thing is ********

Yeah,I kind of assumed that :P

I'm sorry but it just doesn't thrill me at all--especially being that it's supposed to be bespoke. I mean,it really just looks like something you can get at Banana Republic or Club Monaco!

If it were McQueen,CCP(who I believe has done bespoke, non?) or perhaps a Belgian doing such a thing, one can tell what bespoke is meant to be like.
