Definitely her best recent look. The shape of the dress is a bit odd but I actually love it, the embellishment is gorgeous. Besides this time her traditional hairtyle works perfectly, the makeup is perfect as always. There's something very Carey Mulligan about the dress though.

I'm glad to see her hair down more , especially since it looks amazing at the moment, even in candids

I just love how Cate and Rooney are so opposite yet compliment each other so well. Can't wait to see Carol and their awards season's style.

Love both looks! She's even pulling off the hair at the premiere. That shot of her coming out of the car is perfect.

I keep saying that but she really has an eye for exquisite outerwear. She always has in the best coats to punctuate her looks. The pic coming out of the car is so graceful and the coat at the press conference looks great too.


Great look at the premiere. It could've been redundant because she wore ruffles at the photocall, and it's very her, but she looks so beautiful. The hairstyle is amazing . The McQueen dress is stunning but the hair really makes the look. I also love the braid to the photocall ( stunning wedges too). They're finally understanding that they can do something with her hair and still keep it minimal

I love how their stylists are playing on the "pair" thing. The gorgeous pic of the two of them from the back shows how perfectly complementary their looks are. It's almost as if both Cate & Rooney got dressed according to the other but still kept their individuality. Brilliant styling and of course their inner elegance makes it even better.

I hope they continue to play up the dynamic as the promo tour continues. The angel/demon ying/yang dynamic. My next wish is for both of them to introduce some colour into their wardrobes.
