That pretty much sums up the film. The costumes, sets and locations are absolutely stunning and I guess the film could be described as a visual treat. Everything in the film is so beautiful you can just sit back and take that all in. I also really liked the soundtrack. However, considering the film is about Marie Antoinette there isn't much character depth in my opinion, considering the running time, as most of the time Marie Antoinette is just seen partying or frolicking outside. The times that Kirsten Dunst does get to show a bit more range and emotion I think she really shines. I don't think it was a bad film it just could have had a bit more substance.1karina1 said:Slightly off-topic but has anyone seen Marie Antoinette? If so, what did you make of it?
