I asked one time and no one answered me, who chooses the model for the campaign? The designer or the photographer?

The designer has the most sway.

I believe it's sort of a combination. Agencies submit girls like an open call for some campaign lol and they're considered, sort of like a show! The photographer. when chosen, can recommend certain girls, but the designer is not bound to choose them. It's the designer's campaign ultimately and they decide on who to go with, but if a photographer is passionate about a certain girl, that translate into the image. It's not like an editorial where the top echelon of photographers can choose their girl. The designer has a final say, but they are open to agency and photographer input.

For SS07 and FW07 Inguna was chosen for BV before a photographer was selected. Tomas chose her. It has a lot to do with how the girl looked in a collection and if she networked properly with the designer during the shows.
