Saint Laurent S/S 2016 by Hedi Slimane

I kinda do like the split between the images, that's about it!

I don't get the correlation between the lazy shots of the clothes and shots on the right that like they were snatched straight out of a junior high photography class. They're unneeded and uninteresting.

Boring, is getting tired than Slimane made the clothes like "Grunge" style every season. I really miss Stefano Pilatti on YSL.

Every time i see one of his ad for Saint Laurent, it's hard to believe that this is the same guy who did amazing things for Prada in 2009.

The split thing looks fresh but when you do an Ad like that, you have to be at the level of the reference IMO in that kind of ad: the Chanel FW 2001 campaign.

This is not even close...but at this point, what do we expect with Saint Laurent?
I feel like we just have to try to appreciate it as it is...

It doesn't scream Paris at all....I love California but please stop it, Hedi!...Now I really MISS Pilati, his manifesto project with I&V is way too chic than this.

Jamie Hawkesworth did a much better and more striking diptych for Miu Miu a few seasons ago. Beyond bored with SLP's campaigns. It's always the same, however good the clothes may be.

I hate these dyptics everyone does in fashion photography now of two unrelated images. Why not just make one great photograph instead of juxtaposing two mediocre ones to tell your story of the who, what, when, where and why?

While I think the split/contrasting images is interesting I don't like the fact that he used the same image three times, it just looks lazy.

I think this is quite nice actually. I like 3 and 5. He's trying something a bit different at least, and they're sort of dreamy.

Hated this here, sort of loved it in real life. The graphic composition was perfect and the type of black and white they chose looks gooooorgeous on the paper.
