Hair's awful, her head looks big because of her oddly long and thin torso, neck is non existent. Why would they hire Teller? Brand's aesthetic and his style of photography are way too different for this campaign to work.
This is not landing, hardly appealing. This image looks unreal, she is looking too long and the chocker in her neck was a bad styling choice. I don't remember her being so skinny so Im assuming that is photoshop. I like the concept tho, I wanna see the rest, maybe others shots had worked better. And this was photographed in Rio?? If yes, Im hoping to see Raquel, a SL campaing in Rio really asks for her.
I like everything from the neck down. I can't believe they didn't even do her hair or makeup. She looks too casual. It's not a good contrast with the styling.
Lové Freja but i would rather see her back at Chanel than at YSL. Unfortunately,Teller is not Newton so, he can’t sell sex on beautiful location. Nice try Anthony...But no.
Not a very textbook Teller shot, and maybe that's why I like it. Finally, a daylight campaign! Other than the hair, which just makes her look terrible, this is actually quite nice. Vaccarello seems to be relying heavily on YSL's house codes for the campaign. That whole Frenchness, in black, high heels, tights. Like it was overseen by Emmanuelle Alt.
I love Teller and Freja, and this has a lot of potential, but I think the styling, hair and make up kinda ruined it.
Freja is definitely the worst choice for this collection and precisely for this look. I would rather imagine luigi and Iango for this collection than Teller for a tons of reasons.
I think a piece of cardboard is capable of more facial expression than Freja... funnily the best shots so far are the ones where you can’t see the models’ faces...
Always the first one to call out Juergen Teller but I am loving the look of this, especially that first shot of Freja with that Lake Como backdrop and the shot of all the legs... very Helmut Newton-esque.
