Salvatore Ferragamo F/W 2016.17 Milan | the Fashion Spot

Salvatore Ferragamo F/W 2016.17 Milan

This brand has never had its own identity. This season they experimented with Céline and pleated skirt with zig-zag print by Gucci.

I got bored in the middle of this show. That floor was the most interesting part of it.

Incredibly chic!!!

I've always loved this house and it's so underrated. Although some designs are a bit too much and the whole collection itself is too eclectic, this is still quite solid to me! So chic and sophisticated, something fashion has to regain! The quality also is perfection! I've always seen this brand as "Quality over everything else".

I like it, it's clean, elegant and fun. I like all the colours, particularly since fall is pretty bland in colour

he is always hit or miss and this is a total miss

it's quite ugly quirky, i hate the zips :ninja:

Some of the pieces are ok, but for the most part, this is so ugly. And I'm not one of those grey/dull fall/winter color scheme person, but even this is too bright for the season.

Basically the problem with Ferragamo is that it always lacks direction. There is never a clear aesthetic there. In order for the house to thrive, it needs a designer with a distinct point of view and a defined vision. Everyone can do knits and pretty dresses.

Slipdresses and lingerie looked great, but I am not a fan of the colorful outfits.
